大絶賛公開中のTHE GREATEST SHOWMAN観て来ました!!!

コンプレックスを個性に、個性を魅力に変えて人々を魅了して行くその姿勢に僕の胸は感動で一杯一杯になりました！そしてなんとこの映画完全なるフィクションかと思いきや、実話に基づいたストーリーだったのです！

I went to see “THE GREATEST SHOWMAN”. I was really impressed with them positive spilit, make me feel complex is originality and that can be “charm”.I thought this film is fiction but it is not…!!! this film based on Real story. 
上の写真の左側に写っている彼がP.T.バーナム（Phineas Taylor Barnum）お隣に映っているのは親指将軍トムとして名を馳せたチャールズ・ストラットン。実在した人物である事に加え、結構有名だった事もあり探れば探る程ネタが出てくる出てくる!!!あんまり書き過ぎてもまだ映画を観ていない方に申し訳無いのでココまでに…(映画を観終わった後、色々検索してみるのも楽しいですよ♪)

at left side in this picture, He is P.T.BArnum and light side he’s famous “General Tom Thumb” (Charles Stratton).they were real person in history so if you search you can get them infomation very easily. I recommend after the watching movie search about them.
…さて、題名にあるダンボとの秘話とは何ですか？という事なんですけど…実はDISNEY映画ダンボの母ジャンボのモデルとなっているのが1882年P・T・バーナムに売り渡されたオスのアフリカ象のジャンボだったのです！！ジャンボという名前はロンドンでの飼育係により名付けられ、スワヒリ語の挨拶である “jambo” と酋長を意味する”Jumbe“を合わせたものといわれ（諸説あり）、バーナムの宣伝により「巨大」を意味するようになり、ジャンボ＝巨大の語源となった。つまり、それまではジャンボっていう言葉は存在しなかった訳ですね…!!!いやぁー知らなかった!!!ここでジャンボの語源を知る事になるなんて!!!

ダンボの母親と性別は違いますけど…ストーリーの繋がりが見えて面白いですよね。

Disney’s famous film dumbo’s mother, her name is also JUMBO. inspired by P.T.Barnum’s JUMBO !!! ok, P.T.Barnum’s JUMBO was male…but…It’s very interesting that we can find some connection between Dumbo and The GREATEST showman…Don’t you think???
